Surprised? I think not.

Since its establishment in 1991, this home for pizza-by-the-slice has long been hailed a staple of the UMass experience, and the tradition is sure to continue over the years. In fact, the business itself is expanding. Antonio’s has now cropped up in Rhode Island and Texas, as well as in different towns throughout Massachusetts. Nonetheless, Amherst will always be able to say, with pride, that it is the true birthplace and home of this up-and-coming chain.

With the wide range of choices and delicious combinations of flavors, Antonio’s will never disappoint. Whether it be for a $1 slice of cheese pizza to conclude a Friday night or a quick stop for a unique lunch, anytime is the right time to stop by Antonio’s. You can order all kinds of specialty choices from avocado quesadilla to chicken, bacon, ranch pizzas. The possibilities are endless.

So now’s the time to celebrate the Amherst legacy by heading downtown for a hot slice of cheesy victory. Just another reason to wear your maroon and white Minuteman gear with pride.
