Contrary to popular belief, clown costumes will not be banned from UMass Campus

That’s child’s play

While talking to 22News, UMass Amherst Spokesman Ed Blaguszewski confirmed that there were in fact no clowns on campus during the late hours of Monday, October 3rd, despite hundreds of UMass students taking to the streets after being alerted of the potential threat that was said to be roaming South West.

With this clown epidemic becoming rather real and quite scary, you would think that school’s every where would be banning clown costumes on campus, especially with Halloween fast approaching. In fact, may schools are. But UMass knows better. Because there was no actual clown on campus (so far anyway…) Blaguszewski has confirmed that clown costumes are not banned this Halloweekend.

*Far cries in the distance*

There are still three weeks until Halloween, meaning UMass has plenty of time to ban clown costumes once they come to their senses about how detrimental clown costumes could actually be this year…

Blaguszewski suggests that students call the campus police or campus escort service if they feel scared or threatened. Again, Stay in groups and keep away from unlit paths. Please call UMPD to report any ‘real’ clown related sightings. (413) 545-2121
