A photo recap of ‘Taste of UMass’

Just in case you missed it

This past Thursday marked UMass’ annual “Taste of UMass.” Every year, the event shuts down all the dining halls and attracts students, UMass Alumni, and local residents from all around the area to dine on samples of all UMass’ “#2” (but let’s be honest, we are really number ONE!) food.

This year, highlights included great varieties of Tea samples from Honest Tea, and excellent newcomers Argo Tea (seriously, if you’re in Southwest and haven’t already you should check them out). Some more awesome moments included a super sized (“World’s Biggest Indoor?”) Sushi Roll, visits from Patriots cheerleaders and Wally the Green Monster, and some excellent vocal performances for UMass’ “The Voice,” which takes place on the stages surrounding the vendors.

And of course who can forget the chocolate fountain that makes its appearance every, even if they ran out of strawberries for it towards the end…

All in all, if you missed your chance this year to get unlimited UMass (and other sponsored vendors) food, or neglected to steal as many soda cans and bags of chips as you could possibly fit in your bag pack (don’t worry we all did it you’re good), then make sure to show up again next year, I know I will!
