Defending the term ‘basic’

I love Starbucks, I listen to whatever is on Kiss 108 (or whatever “mainstream” channel is playing out here), and I love my cheap wine.

And nothing you say to me is going to make me change that.

I love that “shitty” song that just played because I can dance to it. And no, I’ve tried to dance to your Bon Iver song. I’ll give you credit though, it helps me fall asleep. But are you going to hear that playing in a frat here? Probably not.

My selfie stick helps me take better pictures than you’ll be able to. Plus, I know my good side, you don’t.

I love sweater weather (that’s autumn, for you “hip” people out there). I loooooove taking pictures of my coffee. I don’t even drink my coffee, I just buy it to take pictures. I love watching the leaves change color because they’re just *too* damn pretty. And then I take more pictures with high saturation and post pictures of that too.

I love Target, and my friends will attest to that. I’m constantly running to Target for just about everything. Target makes me happier than any man ever will. It supplies me just enough food so that I can emotionally eat while I watch the Bachelor.

And then after I’m done eating so much crap that I have a food baby, I will eat my body weight in kale to make up for that fact that I just ate eight cookies and two bags of chips

I’ll probably tell you that I’m on my way to Berk, but in reality I’m still trying to do my eyebrows to make sure they’re on fleek, or whatever. And I’ll be late and blame it on the fact I needed to put on my leggings and I couldn’t find them. Because leggings are pants. Leggings >>>>> pants.

I consider Adele and Taylor Swift to be part of my #squad. They always help me when I have a rough day and I need someone to cry to. And when I need a pick-me-up, I listen to Queen Bey because she’s, like, flawless.

But I will agree with you on a few select things – PSL everything sucks, The Notebook doesn’t make me cry (anymore), and I’m not a huge fan of Chipotle either.
