Chicago Bears select Georgia’s Leonard Floyd with ninth draft pick

Chicago Bears select UGA’s Leonard Floyd with ninth pick in the 2016 NFL draft. He is the first SEC player to be selected in this draft.

The outside linebacker led Georgia in sacks for the past three seasons. According to the LA Times, the 6’6″ junior has “top 15” potential.

The Bears received the ninth pick through a trade.
