A guy dropped $12,000 on shots in 100 Proof on Thursday
‘The bartenders started filling ’em all up and it basically turned into a free for all’
A guy racked up a $12,000 tab at 100 Proof Thursday night buying thousands of shots for patrons at the bar.
Aubrey, a second year at UGA, is a bartender there. She was working at the bar on Thursday night with another female bartender when the guy came in with his date.
“He threw a stack of 100 dollar bills on the counter and asked for another round of 1,000 shots.”
Aubrey said the man came into the bar last weekend as well. He offered to take all the female bartenders shopping in Atlanta today.
A UGA student named Monisha said: “All the bartenders covered the table with empty shot glasses which drew everyone’s attention quickly. Everyone crowded around the table. Then the bartenders started filling ’em all up and it basically turned into a free for all.
“Nothing makes a buzzed person happier than seeing free alcohol, so everyone got really happy and grabbed a few shots. It was kinda unreal. The guy was the real MVP. People were in disbelief.”
