UCSD ranked as one of the top 30 schools in the world
It is ahead of Northwestern but behind Duke
UCSD has officially been declared as one of the top 30 most prestigious universities in the world.
The Times Higher Education, which judges the universities across the planet with the best reputations, placed it 29th. There are an estimated 26,000 universities in the world. The United States leads the list as the country with the best universities.
UCSD has gained 6 ranking places since last year, placing it ahead of Northwestern but behind Duke.
