BREAKING: Police go back on no cops on horses promise
Mounted police have been spotted on the 67 block of DP
Despite promising to leave mounted cops out of this year’s Deltopia, it appears that Isla Vista cops have gone back on there word.
A mounted police unit was spotted on the 67 block of DP at around 3pm today.
Last month, students were relieved as the IVPD confirmed that they would not be using horses to police this years party.

Duncan Calvert of the UCSB AS Public Safety Commission and Lt. Rob Plastino of the Isla Vista Foot Patrol confirmed to associated students employee Ashcon Minoifar that the use of horses was unneeded.
UPDATE(4:24pm): Horses have also been spotted on Seville, near Domino’s.
