UCPD searches for suspects of two armed robberies

The victims’ screams were heard by residents of nearby apartments

Saturday around 1 am, UCLA students and Westwood residents reported two armed robberies near campus. The incidents happened just a few blocks from each other.

The first armed robbery took place on Landfair Avenue, the second on Glenrock Avenue.

The victims, all unharmed, revealed that two men were armed with a handgun and pocket knife. The robbers reportedly demanded valuables such as credit cards and other personal property.

The first suspect is described as a Black male in his twenties, 5 foot 6 inches, skinny, wearing a gold grill in his mouth and a black sweatshirt with a red hood.

The second suspect is described as a skinny Black male in his twenties with a gold grill, but much taller at 6 feet 2 inches.

They were last seen heading south on Glenrock Avenue.
