UCLA students ranked among the most studious in the nation
The grind never stops
The Tab recently ran a survey of how many hours on average UCLA students studied per day for finals. UCLA ranked number 15 out of 60, studying an average of 9.8 hours a day. Yes, you read that right – almost ten hours a day.
We talked to a few students that can attest that for UCLA, the grind truly doesn’t stop.
“Considering I studied yesterday from 1 pm to 1 am, I would say that’s me,” said first-year business economics major Megan Ly. “It definitely depends though on what people consider as studying.”
Another student, first-year mechanical engineering major Brian Yee, said that “studying is like finding a corner in a circle.”
But considering UCLA was ranked the #2 public university in the U.S. this past September, Bruins’ efforts have clearly paid off.
