Late night dining is not just a UCLA experience, it’s a way of life
You ask me if I go to Late Night everyday, I said often….
You know you are doing the college experience right when you engage in the late night dining culture.
I entered the wondrous world of late night at the beginning of my college journey. I’m still not sure if this is a good thing I discovered “Late Night” too early. But let’s be honest here, Late Night is not just a dining hour, tis the time to socialize with your friends with the company of delicious chicken tenders, beyond amazing curly fries and breathtaking ice cream shakes.
You can go to Late Night whenever you want to. Are you just bored? Do you want to celebrate Leo’s oscar win? Are you stressing out for your midterms and you just have to take a break? All of these questions will eventually lead you to end up in Late Night!
Late Night is a lifestyle. You will have to make sacrifices for it by not eating dinner until nine (sometimes people have two dinners thanks to late night, and yes I am one of those people!).
Sometimes you will have to wait in line for hours (maybe a little exaggerating). You can be the judge. But no matter how long you wait you will always get what you want. Late Night will always be there to welcome you…
And lastly, there will be times where you will have to fight for Late Night. Recently, the shakes were removed from the menu. This situation led to an uprising (when they remove our shakes, what else can we do rather than protest?) by the students living on the hill. As a result guess who’s back? Back again? The shakes are!!
Now you know how serious we are with Late Night on the Hill. If you haven’t tried Late Night yet, I advise you to close your laptop screen and run, until the line gets too long!
