UC Irvine is in the top one percent of universities in the world

University of California, Irvine has been ranked in the Top 100 universities in the world.
CWUR published their annual university rankings which are based on various factors of the university. The factors considered were quality of education, which was measured by “ measured by the number of a university’s alumni who have won major international awards, prizes, and medals relative to the university’s size,” quality of faculty, publications, influence, citations, and patents.
UCI was ranked 52nd in the United States and 88th in the world. This is up from last year’s ranking of 89th in the world.
The study took into account over 25,000 universities around the world, meaning that any in the top 250, including Irvine, can claim to be better than 99 percent of the world’s schools.
