Temple Police are searching for man who sexually assaulted female student

This happened in her private residence at 2 a.m.

At 11:41 a.m., Temple Police sent students an email regarding a female student who was sexually assaulted at her private residence in the 1500 block of North 15th Street.

Students were sent this email.

According to Temple Police, this occurred at approximately 2 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29.

The offender's description was also released as a black male in his mid-20s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, with a dark, full beard and short hair.

He was wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans at the time.

Students are being told to contact Temple Police and Philadelphia Police with any tips or information. Temple students can also give information via an anonymous online reporting system here.

Temple's new online reporting system is encouraged for all students to use. Our university is standing firm with their mission to combat sexual assault after being funded through the "It’s On Us PA" campaign.

This can be filled out anonymously or with the information of the person reporting the incident, either by anyone inside or out of the Temple community to report incidents of sexual misconduct. Students can report sexual assault, domestic and dating violence, harassment, stalking and sexual exploitation, according to Temple University.
