Things Temple students could look forward to in 2017

Cupid’s Undie run, Hootathon, and Center City District Week—we’re ready for the new year

We could all agree that it’s about time this year was over. Not only was it a horrible year for our favorite celebrities, but after a year like 2016—we’re more than ready for midnight.

However, there’s some good news for Temple University students in 2017 since we’re lucky to have several events to look forward to.

Students could find a list of participating restaurants on here.

Cupid’s Undie Run raises money for a cure of Neurofibromatosis (NF), a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body, causing deafness, blindness, learning disabilities and severe chronic pain.

According to their website, they run in their undies because people with NF can’t cover up their tumors and can’t put clothes on to feel more comfortable. Therefore, they run in their undies to show their support.

This event is on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 12pm to 4pm and students can register here.
