Tina Fey announces Temple scholarship
The comedy queen established the scholarship in honor of her late father
Tiny Fey, queen of comedy, announced yesterday to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that she has established a scholarship fund for Temple University in honor of her late father.
Donald Fey, a journalism graduate of Temple, passed away this past October.
Fey laughingly admitted that the Donald H. Fey Memorial Scholarship is only open to a pretty limited amount of people. It hopes to enable returning veterans who want to study journalism at Temple University’s School of Media and Communication.
Her most recent movie, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, is also dedicated to him.
