There’s a new emoji app just for Philly (and Temple)

We’re calling them Philly-mojis

The Philadelphia Keyboard app is about to change the lives of Temple students.

The free app by Snaps Media, Inc. was released just this Tuesday and already has students excited to download it.

Meg Green tweets about discovering the app

The app includes typical Philly landmarks and icons, like Boathouse Row, the Rocky statue, and the Liberty Bell with different smiley faces.

For Philadelphians, the apple emoji keyboard is now basically obsolete.

This app covers all your emoji needs. You and your friend are trying to decide what to eat? The conversation just got a lot easier. You can find emojis for Philly pretzels, cheesesteak, Dietz & Watson sandwiches, and more regional delicacies. Trying to go out for a drink? There’s an emoji for that, too. You can even insert local slang.

The app also includes moving stickers, gifs, and videos of the skyline and notable Philly beauties.

Unbelievably, the only thing the app’s missing is any reference to Philadelphia sports teams. Maybe that’s a slight to their performances this year.
