5 boozy mixes to get your holiday spirits high after finals
Now that finals are over, we can all head home and sleep… but don't let the party STOP! Even though we leave behind the crazy nights at DJ's, the silence of Bird Library, and the sliminess of our dorm showers, the Syracuse part carries on. Let us drink to forget our finals, our GPAs, and our scholarly responsibilities (until January).
Here are 5 Holiday Cocktails to help:
1. Drunk Jack Frosties
Ingredients: 1 c. vodka, 1 c. Champagne, 1/2 c. Blue Curacao, 1/2 c. lemonade, 3 c. ice, Lemon wedge, white sanding sugar
Directions: Blend the booze and lemonade and ice until a slushy-type liquid forms. Rub the lemon wedge around the rim of your container and dip the edge in the sugary shit. Pour the boozy into the cup and DRANK.
2. Jingle Juice
Ingredients: 4 c. Cran-Apple Juice, 2 bottles red moscato, 1 bottle prosecco, 1/2 c. vodka, 2 c. frozen cranberries, 1/3 c. mint leaves
Directions: Shove all the ingredients in a container, mix it, drink it.
3. RumChata Eggnog
Ingredients: 1 c. RumChata, Eggnog
Directions: The original recipe we found taught you to make your own eggnog……… fuck that! Grab a carton of your favorite nog and spike it with RumChata. For you lightweights, we suggest 1 shot of RumChata, for heavy drinkers 2 shots per glass.
4. Gingerbread Eggnog White Russian
Ingredients: 1 tbsp. cinnamon sugar, Ice, 1 c. eggnog, 1 c. vodka, 1 c. Kahlúa, 2 tbsp. molasses, Pinch ground ginger, Whipped cream
Directions: Select your cups and wet the rims, dipping them in cinnamon sugar. Next, fill a shaker with ice, nog, vodka, Kahlúa, ginger, and molasses – then SHAKE that bitch. Dump it into your container and pop some whipped cream on top and drizzle that bitch with molasses.
5. Christmas Cookie Shot
Ingredients: 4oz Baileys Irish Cream, Butterscotch Schnapps Liqueur, 1 oz Cointreau, 0.5oz Kalúa, ice
Directions: Throw ice and booze into shaker and FUCKIN' SHAKE THAT BITCH LIKE A POLAROID PICTURE. Strain into shots. Drank.
