The trendiest fall outfits that require the least amount of effort

Seriously, I mean it

Just me or did it feel like fall took FOREVER to arrive this year?

Now that pumpkin spice drinkin', sweater wearin', apple picking' season is upon us, let me show you how to dress cute for class without actually trying! Let's face it- who needs to be one of those people who picks out their outfit the night before when all we really want to do is spend the evening in bed, Netflixing until the "Are you still watching?" screen comes up and we're left starring at our tired and stressed reflection looking back at us.

COZY + CHIC

(stylishly) Oversized sweatshirt + black leggings + vans = happy Liz

Out of all the outfits I put together, this is most likely the easiest for EVERYONE to recreate! To start things off, find a well-loved and most importantly, COMFORTABLE, sweatshirt to throw over a plain tee for those chilly mornings. Next, grab your favorite pair of black leggings and finish the look off with some fashion-forward athleisure sneaks or slip- ons in an unexpected color.

FARMER + FASHIONABLE

"Overall" a pretty cute outfit… (See what I did there??)

It's 2017, so I'm going out on a limb here and assuming most people own a pair of overalls by now. (If not, what is taking you so long? Nothing wrong with being #basic) They are so comfortable and pair perfectly with oversized flannels. To keep the rest of the look simple, I wore my *very* well loved pair of Vans and threw my hair up in a messy top knot to match my outfit's laid-back vibes.

BUNDLED + BOOTS

Orange ya glad rain boots are still in style?

THIS. JACKET. IS. MY. FAVORITE. To recreate my look, find yourself a long military style jacket in an unexpected color and ~make a statement~ (FYI I bought this jacket before I knew I had even been accepted into Syracuse. Fate works in mysterious ways…) For bottoms, black jeans or comfy leggings will work and the boots are the perfect addition when the rain, snow, sleet, and hail starts heading our way!

RIPS + RAYBANS

Looking like I'm about to drop a fire mixtape…

You only need 3 pieces to complete this look from head to toe. Start with a fun sweater: think chunky, cable-knit, and oversized. Next, grab your favorite pair of ripped denim to ~balance everything out~. Finally, pop on a pair of black, suede, heeled booties and your look is complete!

VEST + VINEYARD VINES

Who needs a boyfriend when a girl has boyfriend jeans??

Did someone say game day?? If you're not one of those people to wear full out orange on game days in the Dome, opt for a dad cap with Otto on it to show your school sprit without going overboard. The long sleeve and vest combo pair perfect together for those chillier days when it's too cold to wear short sleeves but too hot to wear a full on winter coat. The boyfriend jeans are a no brainer for this look because they are seriously, the most comfortable things on the planet, and the converse are, well, a classic.

Now, go ahead and get to shopping in your OWN closets ladies! There's no telling what kinds of looks you can create spending $0 and expelling the least amount of effort possible.
