Jim Boeheim has officially handed his opponents 1000 losses

Rain drop drop top, 1000 wins, NCAA can’t stop

After a tough fight against #9 University of Virginia (UVA), the Syracuse University men’s basketball team have helped lead Jim Boeheim to his 1000th career victory. Despite a rough start to the 2016-17 season, the Orange have surprised us yet again with this incredible win. Syracuse beat UVA (#1 seed) last March as a #10 seed to win a ticket to the Final Four. This season, Syracuse is not even in the NCAA Top 25 for week 13 this season, which is making Orange fans nervous for championship and post-season play.

The NCAA has banned Syracuse University and Jim Boeheim from mentioning anything about it being his 1000th win due to an investigation against the Orange that took place in 2015 resulting in the loss of 101 wins. Despite this, students and on-campus organizations have shown their continued support for the King of SU by posting online and bringing signs to the game.

This win comes at a critical time in the season, just a few days after a huge win against North Carolina State and a few weeks before the Orange face the Duke Blue Devils. This will undoubtedly be the biggest game of the season and after a last second win last year, SU is likely gearing up for record numbers in The Dome this season against Duke.

No matter what the NCAA says, SU is so proud of Jim Boeheim. Let the tailgating continue until the break of dawn. Maybe we’ll see Jim at East Adams…
