‘Fuck Trump’ spray-painted on the Quad

The campus woke up to “Fuck Trump” spray-painted in all caps across a sidewalk in the Quad. Since then, DPS officers have been preventing students from walking on that side walk, having them take a different route, or walk on the grass instead.
A lot has happened in the aftermath of Donald Trump being chosen as our President Elect. Rallies and protests, as well as many examples of hate speech have been seen all over the United States, with three protests and rallies taking place on the Syracuse University campus alone in the past 24 hours, as well as another one in downtown Syracuse.
It is currently unknown how the university will deal with both the profane spray paint, and the general thoughts of the student body in the aftermath of an unexpected event that has caused widespread fear and sadness in the campus.
