The International Student Organization is putting on a free showing of the movie ‘Selma,’ which chronicles the march MLK led from Selma to Montgomery.
Thursday, April 14: Pauketat Talk
Strasser Legacy Room, 220 Eggers Hall, 4pm
The Anthropology Department has invited Timothy Pauketat to speak at SU as part of their Speaker Series. His talk is titled “Dragons and Affects in the Ancient City: Lessons from Cahokia and the Emerald Acropolis.”
Friday, April 15: Orange After Dark Midnight Movie: Dirty Dancing

OAD is putting on yet another Midnight Movie, this time throwing it back to this 1987 classic. Don’t forget to bring your ID!
Saturday, April 16: TedX Glitch
Slocum Auditorium, 2pm
This year’s SU TEDx talk will have eight speakers and small interactive reception that includes old, art, and more. Tickets are available in Schine for $5.
Monday, April 18: The Tab Syracuse Meeting
HoL 201, 7:30pm
An absolutely-can’t-miss event for SU students is the weekly Tab meeting in the Hall of Languages. Come as you are, with or without article ideas. Pizza most likely provided.
