John Bul Dau is coming to Syracuse on Saturday

This Saturday, John Bul Dau will be in HBC Gifford from 3pm-5pm.

Encompass Journey of Understanding, a student group that hopes to engage the people of Syracuse and breakdown societal preconceptions surrounding refugees will host a movie screening of “God Grew Tired of Us”, as well as a panel discussion with John Bul Dau, the author of “God Grew Tired of Us”, and a representative from Hopeprint.

Each year, Syracuse accepts about 1,200 refugees, and en.com.pass hopes to create a better, more caring environment for them.
