SU student passes away unexpectedly
Justin Robinson passed away while visiting home
With an introductory sentence that has become all to familiar this school year, Dean Kantrowitz informed us of the passing of another one of our own.
“It is with deep sadness that I write to you this afternoon to inform you of the untimely passing of a Syracuse University student,” she wrote.
Justin Robinson, a senior, passed away unexpectedly this weekend while visiting his home in Georgia.
He was a College of Arts and Sciences student, and an active member of the university. He was a member of the Black Celestial Choral Ensemble, J.U.M.P. Nation, and the Multicultural Empowerment Network.
Those who knew him considered him funny and passionate.
The BCCE is working with Hendricks Chapel to host a vigil to celebrate and remember Justin.
