Researchers from SU contributed to a ground breaking discovery

Another reason why going orange is the greatest decision we have made thus far.

SU is known for many great things, and contributing to the detection of gravitational waves in this extremely important discovery is yet another reason why we go to the best school… ever.

A quote from the e-mail sent to SU students by Chancellor Kent Syverud read:

“This morning three Syracuse physicists, in partnership with scientists from across the globe, unveiled a historic scientific discovery, the first-ever detection of gravitational waves. This research confirms a major prediction of Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity, and opens an unprecedented new window into the universe.”

Way to go, SU physics!

Temperatures hit below zero

Snow, wind, hoods and icy tears filled the University this past weekend as temperatures reached as low as -23 degrees in the early morning.

The Hill was bone-chillingly cold this weekend. Temperatures remained below zero and in the single digits and according to Syracuse.com, Upstate NY had recorded the coldest temperatures in the country for the weekend. BRRRRRRR….

Valentines Day came and went

Or Galentine?

Who needs a valentine anyways?

Diets don’t count on the holidays.
