Fall Foliage in Full Swing

Students and staff were treated to quite a site this week, as a rainbow appeared over the university’s famed building, the  Hall of Languages. The rainbow complimented the beautiful autumn-colored leaves on the building. The fall foilage can be spotted all over campus now.

Austin Holmes’ New EP Hits the Internet

SU senior Austin Holmes’ newest EP, “Drive,” has hit the Internet this week, complete with rave reviews. The singer is currently in the process of editing the song’s music video. Also, if you haven’t already, add this new tune to your playlist STAT.

Emily Nussbaum Comes to Newhouse

Emily Nussbaum, famed television critic for The New Yorker, came to the Newhouse School this Thursday to share her experiences and thoughts of working in the business of TV reviewing. She also detailed personal anecdotes and thoughts on certain TV shows, including Mad Men, Scream Queens, American Horror Story.

Last Schine Underground Bandersnatch Concert of the Semester

University Union presented its finale concert at Schine Underground for the semester. The event brought in Kanye West’s protégé, 19 year old rapper Raury.

Orangemen Take on Lousville Cardinals

SU’s football team traveled to Louisville, Kentucky for one of the final football games of the season this past Saturday. Unfortunately, our orangemen lost 41-17. Luckily, they still have three more games of the season to go.

Last “Scarier Dome” Event of the Semester

The final “Scarier Dome” of the semester featured performances from bands “Midriffs,” “Punt” and “Petite League.” The event even featured freshly cooked pancakes, which were available to purchase upstairs in between sets!
