Halloweekend: Thirsty Thursday style

‘Cuse kicks off Halloweekend with costumes to set the bar for the weekend of dressing up

Halloweekend kicked off here on the Hill with a 46 degree nigh, but it did not stop many Halloween party goers from wearing their best.

From “DJ’s Halloween Bash” to “40’s and Shorties: Halloween Edition” to other parties up and down Comstock and off-campus neighborhoods, this Thirsty Thursday had students kicking off the weekend in their first of a few costumes to attend this weekend’s themed parties in.

This Halloween is particularly special for College students because it falls on a Saturday, which leaves a Thursday, Friday and Saturday for themed costume parties (not saying any other day of the week would stop ‘Cuse students from celebrating).

Here’s a look at what ‘Cuse students wore out last night on the chilly Thursday.

Yana wore this skeleton onesie as her Thursday choice. She has plans to dress as a police officer for Friday and a Victoria’s Secret Angel for Saturday

Jackie and Andie have plans to be Risky Business for Friday and aliens for Saturday

Sophia has plans to be Louise from Bob’s Burgers one of the next two nights and she is unsure of the other. Shareif is going to be the Fresh Prince of Bel Aire one night

Emma (left) has plans to be Where’s Waldo and a referee. Joie (right) has plans to be unicorn and a bunny

Lauren (left) has plans to be a hobo and a mermaid. Taylor (right) has plans to be a hippy and a pirate

(L to R) Casey, Alyssa and Emily were starting their night off as DPS officers and an inmate. Emily knew she was going as Party in the USA Friday night and a squirrel Saturday night

Mike was unsure of his costumes for the weekend and Julia was heading home after her Thirsty Thursday adventures for the rest of the weekend

These two ladies were unsure of what they were wearing for the rest of the weekend

This group of ladies has costume plans for the rest of the weekend that included: Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, a Nun, a naughty cop, Minnie Mouse and a gingerbread man

Austin was very excited about his nerd costume and proudly explained his costume plans for the rest of the weekend in a fake accent as being a cheetah for one night
