Three students robbed at gunpoint on Ostrom Avenue

They knocked on the door wearing surgical masks

Three international students were robbed at gunpoint late last night by two armed men in surgical masks.

Two robbers knocked on the front door of a house in the 200 block of Ostrom Avenue after 11pm and stole the wallets, cell phones and car keys of the international students who lived there.

The stolen property was later found off campus in Syracuse. The suspects fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle, believed to be a Porsche, in an unknown direction.

No injuries were reported.

Police believe suspects to be two males in their late twenties, 5’10 and 6ft tall, 160 lbs, wearing black hoodies, black pants, and surgical masks.

Syracuse Police are appealing for information regarding the incident on 315-442-5222.
