Stanford has the most powerful alumni network in America

It’s no secret that Stanford – the birthplace of Instagram, Google, Yahoo, and Snapchat – has a mile-long list of strong alumni.
But did you know we have the most powerful alumni network of any university in the country?
Best College Values ranked 50 American universities based on their alumni networks, taking into account financial contributions, post-graduation employment rate, student rankings of alumni network helpfulness, and size of LinkedIn alumni base, among other factors.
It should come as no surprise that a school as selective as Stanford, which accepted only 5.05 percent of applicants this past year (its lowest acceptance rate in history), came out on top.
In 2012 Stanford set a fundraising record, becoming the first American college to add more than $1 billion to its endowment in a single year – mostly thanks to alumni donations.
Oh, and Cal ranked number 15 on the list. Just sayin’.
