Joe Biden is coming to Rutgers to try and end sexual assault

Students can claim their free ticket starting October 2nd

Joe Biden is coming to Rutgers on October 12th to rally students for the It's On Us campaign to end sexual assault across universities.

Students can claim one free ticket on October 2nd at 11 a.m. The event's location will be determined by October 9th.

Doors will open at 12 p.m. Students are required to be in line by 1 pm. Students must have a valid ID and printed ticket. Not all ticket holders are guaranteed entry. If space permits, students without tickets will be given entry.

The It's On Us campaign was started in 2014 by Barack Obama and the White House Council on Women and Girls to raise awareness and end sexual assault for students across college campuses.

This rally is being sponsored by Rutgers New Brunswick Division of Students Affairs in ties with the End Sexual Violence Campaign and Turn the Campus Purple Week; all started by the Office of Violence Prevention and Victim Assistance.

If you are a victim of sexual assault and need someone to talk to, you can call 848-932-1181 or visit this site for more information.
