Student slams Rutgers frat bros for Instagram captions mocking Hispanics

‘Rutgers, Are these the boys you want being representatives of your oh so ‘diverse’ fraternities???’

A Rutgers Engineering student has criticized Rutgers Greek life by tweeting a collage of spring break Instagram posts of Phi Delta Theta brothers, in which the captions are all poor taste jokes about Hispanics.

Andrea Toro tweeted three pictures with the caption reading: “Rutgers, are these the boys you want being representatives of your oh so ‘diverse’ fraternities???”

@danushhhbag, an account with the Phi Delta Theta letters in the bio, posted a picture at Cancun alongside friends with the caption: “If all you have is booze, Mexican babies can’t pick pick you #pigeonnuggets #catsup #mexicohazedus.”

@Kevinryankealy, also an account with the Phi Delta Theta letters in the bio,  posted a picture with a toddler with the caption: “Everyone meet Kevin Ryan II. Not only does he fit in the palm of my hand, but he wears a size 12 shoe just like me. It was only fitting that I gave his mom 50 American dollars to have him. Jordan and I will be taking resumes for god parents, so if you’re interested email me at [email protected] #modernfamily.”
