The best signs from the Rutgers solidarity march against Trump’s executive order

‘Can’t build a wall, hands too small’

Today, hundreds of Rutgers students, faculty, staff and members of the New Brunswick community gathered on College Avenue to march in solidarity against Trump’s executive order and travel ban. Several organizations including The Muslim Student Association, Black Men’s Collective, Students for Justice in Palestine and several other student groups unified to support people around the world that will and have been impacted by the order.

Among plenty of thought-provoking speeches, President Robert Barchi made an appearance to speak to the large crowd gathered outside of Brower Commons. “We have over 8000 individuals here who profess the Muslim faith and every one of them deserves our respect, our protection and all the rights we can provide,” Barchi said. “And we’re gonna do our best to ensure that’s exactly what’s gonna happen.”

Many of the protesters created signs and demonstration posters for the march. Here are some of the best ones hand-picked by The Tab Rutgers team.
