Pro-Trump phrases written on Rutgers sidewalks
They were found mostly on College Ave and Livingston
Pro-Trump slogans were written out on the sidewalk in front of the College Avenue Student Center, in front of the Brower Steps, and around the Circle on Livingston Campus today.
A chalking which said “All Aboard the Trump Bus” was found in front of the Rutgers Student Center bus stop, as well as “Bernie for Trump,” “Crooked Hillary” and “Build the Wall” in front of Brower. There was also #PODESTAEMAIL and “Wikileak the truth” written on Livingston campus.
These slogans upset many students and organizations. Some of the Rutgers class Facebook pages were awash with political discussions; however admin, Zach Smith, turned off commenting on many of these posts.
The Center for Latino Arts and Culture released an e-mail stating they plan to have an emergency meeting tonight at 7pm to talk about the “display of anti-immigration prejudice found throughout campus.”
