Rutgers mourns death of a student
Chancellor Edwards sent out an email this afternoon
An email was sent out to the Rutgers community earlier this afternoon regarding the passing of a Rutgers New Brunswick student, Phillip G. Kings.
In the email Chancellor Edwards stated that the Mechanical Engineering junior passed unexpectedly on Monday. Phillip was also a resident of Bordentown.
Expressing his condolences, Chancellor Edwards wrote to “please join in keeping Phillip’s family and friends in your thoughts during this difficult time.”
Visiting hours will be held at Saul Funeral Home in Hamilton, New Jersey on Saturday, September 10, from 5:30 to 7 pm. The funeral service will take place at 7 pm at this same location.
Rutgers is offering support through CAPS to anyone affected by Phillip’s death. Appointments can be made by calling (848) 932-7884.
