We asked drunk kids on spring break if their parents would be proud of them

‘This spring break I did not really have limits, I just drank, and when I drink, mistakes are made’

For most college students, spring break is probably the most long-awaited time of the semester. What other time of year can you go away for a week and live a debauched lifestyle?

We asked college students in Miami Beach, FL  on a scale of 1-10 how proud their parents would be of their spring break behavior.

Mike, senior, University of Buffalo

“My dad is an Irish man, he’d enjoy the drunkness and how much fun I’m having, but my dad fucking hates me. My mother understands me she would love how drunk I am right now, but not for the amount of money I spent last night. I spent $500 and don’t know where the hell that went. So, one.”

Cassy, junior, FIU

“A solid four. Because this spring break I did not really have limits, I just drank, and when I drink, mistakes are made. A solid fucking four.”

Kyle, junior, University of Buffalo

“Right now? My parents would be not very proud of me. I did a lot of bit of drugs, but I had a lot of fun. They hate drugs, but love fun.”

Bernadette, senior, UCF

“Not proud. Because they don’t know what the fuck is going on.”

Kelsey, grad student, Sam Houston State

“My mom, 10, Dad, 0”

Jay, senior, Iona College

“My mom said drink two beers for me. So 11, my parents would be so proud!”

Nick, senior, University of Buffalo

“It would be a ten, they would love me. I came down with $200 in my pocket just took a flight with no where to stay, ended up meeting a couple people and just crashed at their place, living the dream, woke up got to see the sunrise, I fucking love Miami. They would be proud of me, doing my own thing, making decisions for myself.

Akilah, sophomore, Ole Miss

“A nine, I haven’t been that drunk. ”

Kimani, senior, Jackson State

“I think my parents would be an eight, they’re ok with me drinking. They’re ok that I’m not a lame or anything, and I’m actually doing something with my life.”

Tristan, sophomore, FIU

” It’d be a ten, because they used to do this shit, so I feel like they’d be proud.”

Mikaela, sophomore, University of Mobile

“Fuck my parents, fuck them motherfuckers.”

Andrew, sophomore, UConn

“Ten, my parents would be so fucking proud of me, because they’re foreign as fuck,  they don’t know what I’m doing.  The smoking weed part, they’d be really disappointed, they really don’t care about alcohol that much. So the weed brings it down to a four, but the alcohol brings it up to a seven-point-five.”

Meeraj, sophomore, UConn

“I’d say a nine because my dad fucks with it, but my mom doesn’t. But I’m gonna get lit, we’re in Miami.”

Ximena, sophomore, FIU

“Honestly like a three, because I haven’t been too great. It was my birthday the other day, and I’ve just been going HAM since.”

Demarcus, senior, Jackson State

“My mom would probably be an eight right now, she knows I’m not out here being a crash dummy, so we good.”
