What’s the first thing you think of when you hear the words ‘fraternity’ or ‘sorority’?

‘Honestly? Partying’

With Greek rush season basically coming to an end, I know I’m not the only one that saw all the sorority girls, new and old, dancing outside of their houses in their matching outfits and (surprisingly) pretty impressive dance moves. You either enjoyed this spectacle or it annoyed the hell out of you. Likewise, the frats with their boys in nice tuxedos and them always going on (and I mean always) about how important getting their bid is. Either you think it’s admirable how serious they are or just plain annoying. There are many varying opinions on what people truly think of fraternities and sororities — so I decided to ask what you guys really thought.

Katherine, senior, Biology

Aladdin, first year, undeclared
