Princeton ranked the safest town in the Ivy League

We’re ninth in the country

SafeWise has just released their rankings for the 30 safest college towns in the US and put Princeton at number nine.

Princeton was the only town with an Ivy League school to make the list. They cited PSafe’s combination of personal touch with cutting-edge technology as well as their social media alert system and partnerships with the Eating Clubs.

SafeWise used crime statistics from the FBI and weighed the total number of crimes relative to a number of factors such as population.

They also factored in “relevant safety, health, and educational programs” that added to the safety and security of these towns.
