You can get a free New York Times subscription with your Pitt email
Time to get learnt
The Student Government Board and CGS Student Government have provided all undergrad students a free subscription to the New York Times.
The announcement was made through a text sent to students. “Undergrads, check your email to activate your FREE NY Times membership for the coming year, curtosey of Student Government Board and CGS Student Government.”
— Pitt SGB (@pittsgb) July 31, 2017
An activation link was sent to everyone’s inbox. Without a subscription, there is a limited amount of articles you can view per month.
Access is included with any smartphone and tablet and from the New York Times app itself.
So far, it seems students have mixed feelings about the news.
pitt does a lot of things wrong but giving all of its student a @nytimes subscription is not one of them 🙌🏽

Pitt's tuition goes up <$1000 but the failing SGB thinks we all need a free subscription to the failing NY Times

I'm personally tired of this wasteful government spending. #MakePittGreatAgain
