‘Occupation is a crime, from Syria to Palestine!’ Protest against US intervention in Syria
There was a Trump protest again
On a cold Friday afternoon, around 40 to 50 people gathered in Schenley Plaza to protest Trump’s controversial use of missiles in Syria.
Organized by the Answer Coalition, the group believes that “Trump’s war is not about democracy or humanitarian intervention. Trump’s war is about U.S. superiority and domination. Just like the rest of his agenda, his attack on Syria is about white supremacy and increasing the profits of the billionaires.”
At the event, one speaker stated that Trump, Obama, and Clinton should all be charged with war crimes. Another said that the Republican and Democratic parties are “warmongers who… salivate war.”
More protests against US intervention is Syria are planned for the future.
