Anti-abortion protesters line outside St. Paul Cathedral

They lined Fifth Avenue with anti-abortion signs for ‘Respect life Sunday’

This afternoon pro-life advocates lined Fifth Avenue outside of St. Paul Cathedral with anti-abortion signs.

A woman taking part said that they were lining up for “Respect life Sunday.”

The silent protesters lined the entire block of Fifth Avenue between North Craig Street and North Dithridge Street. They are assumed to be part of St. Paul Cathedral’s Respect Life Group.

According to the church’s website, the group provides programs such as sponsoring a bus to the annual March for Life in Washington DC where they “pray, protest and lobby against the injustice of legal abortion” as well as participating in the 40 Days for Life Campaign, which “seeks to target spiritual attention against abortion in an organized, peaceful, and prayerful way.”
