Anti-cop chalk all over Oakland

Black Lives Matters protesters took their message to campus walls

On Thursday, outside Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall, a group of four or five Black Lives Matters protesters, armed with a microphone, spoke for over three hours about the problems black people have with police.  They attracted a small crowd across the street, made up of supporters and people who just wanted to see what was happening.

Walking to my dorm around 10:30, I saw chalk scribbles on the stairs leading up to Towers patio

I was curious, so I walked around and found more graffiti.

I thought that was it. I guess BLM has a problem with university police officers as well.

In case it’s hard to see, it says “F.U” with an arrow pointing at the police station.

It was very disheartening to see this kind of stuff with my own eyes. Seeing it on TV is one thing, but seeing it close up is something else.  It’s a shame that people are brainwashed to feel this way, and I hope that thoughts like these will one day be a thing of the past.
