Hillary Clinton has shown her true colors, yet again
Hillary not only lies but has recently said that young voters are ‘naive and lazy’
Many Bernie supporters have heard time and time again that Hillary Clinton is taking money from fossil fuel companies. Clinton has repeatedly said that Bernie is misrepresenting her, but this “misrepresentation” is starting to allow Clinton’s true self to shine through.
Earlier this week, Clinton was asked by an activist, “Will you act on your word to reject fossil fuel money in the future in your campaign?” Clinton furiously responded, “I do not have — I have money from people who work for fossil fuel companies. I am so sick — I am so sick of the Sanders campaign lying about me. I’m sick of it.”
This accusation coming from a woman that has flip flopped, and lied innumerable times since the beginning, is enough to piss off any Bernie Sanders supporter, and then she went even further. During Hillary’s interview with NBC today she stated, “I feel sorry sometimes for the young people who, you know, believe this. They don’t do their own research. And I’m glad that we now can point to reliable, independent analysis to say, ‘No, it’s just not true.'”
So on behalf of all the young non-fact-checkers, Hillary, the young are not supporting Bernie because we do not fact check. We are supporting Bernie because he gives us hope, just as Obama did when he won against you in 2008. Hillary “let the conversation begin” and start discussing the obvious issues with super PACs running the elections and then perhaps I will trust you when you tell me where your money is coming from. Until then, I think I will trust the 74-year-old man who has found a way to connect with the youth instead of the 68-year-old who is riding on the wave of Clinton nostalgia.
