‘Twas the night before Wisconsin…
Nothing can stop us, we’re all the way up!
‘Twas the night before Wisconsin, when all through campus,
Not a student was stirring, not even the frats;
The Natty Light was chilling in the fridge with care,
In hopes that game time soon would be there.
The players were nestled all snug in their beds,
While images of touchdowns danced in their heads;
And fans in their jerseys, and I in my lion ears,
Had just sat down to start chugging some beers;
When out in the streets arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my seat to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and heard a crash.
The cold wind howled and shook the trees below,
When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a rally of students screaming in cheer.
Dressed in Penn State colors from head to toe,
They whistled and shouted from the streets below.
“OOOOOhhh oh oh oh oh oh oh We Are Penn State.”
As pom-poms before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky,
So up to the street top the roads they marched,
With a crowd full of pride,
Knowing the PSU will be keeping the ball on our side.
After rising up to Big 10 East Champ,
All the students are ready for the game and our campus is amped.
Tomorrow Wisconsin better be ready,
Because the PSU fans are going to make the stadium unsteady.
After beating Ohio, and showing the world what we can do,
Wisconsin, we are coming for you.
