Students to partake in #NotMyPresident walk-out next Tuesday

On November 15, Penn State students will show their resistance to a Trump presidency

This past Tuesday, a great deal of Penn State students were angered and devastated at the election results. These emotions are not unique to Penn State students. Colleges across the nation have begun staging “walk-out” protests. On Tuesday, November 15, Penn State will join these other universities in showing their resistance to a Trump presidency.

The #NotMyPresident Walk-Out is being organized by Penn State students Nadia Souada and Alexis Scott with help from the Penn State QTPOC: Queer and Trans People of Color, a university recognized organization. Those interested in helping to plan the walkout can attend the planning meeting this coming Sunday, 3-4 PM in the PRCC in the HUB.

Presently, over 450 people have said they will be participating. This Tuesday history was made. Next Tuesday it will be again.
