Hell yeah! Penn State is in the Top 25 college football teams

And it’s about time

For the first time in five years Penn State Football are bathing in the warm light of the AP’s Top 25 college teams in the USA.

After last night’s shocker of a game, the Nittany Lions are finally ranked in the AP Top 25, and how good does it feel?

Unfortunately for the Buckeye’s they have fallen from the heavens from slot #2 down to #6…ouch.

Penn State, it seems, has successfully ended Ohio State’s 20 game winning streak and secured themselves slot #24.

The last time Penn State was included in this ranking was back in 2011, which means that no current Penn State student have ever witnessed the Lions ranked — definitely is a cause for celebration (better known as riots).

PSU Alerts, however, don’t seem to share our same jubilance:

Admittedly, the past few seasons haven’t been amazing, but we’ve stood by our Lions through it all and it has definitely paid off.

Let’s hope that this success isn’t short lived and next week we move up in the rankings even higher as we take on Purdue.
