Penn State ranked 4th best school in the Big Ten

At least we can still beat Pitt at something

U.S. News just came out with the newest National Universities Ranking for 2017. Out of a total of 310 schools, Penn State came out towards the beginning of the list at #50. The rankings are calculated by range of undergraduate majors, master’s and doctoral programs, and emphasis in faculty research.

Here’s how the rest of the Big Ten stacked up:

#12 Northwestern University

#27 University of Michigan

#44 University of Wisconsin

#50 Penn State University

#54 Ohio State

#60 Purdue University

#71 University of Minnesota

#82 Michigan State University

#82 University of Iowa

#86 Indiana University

#111 University of Nebraska

#152 University of Illinois

Oh, and Pitt found its way at #68 — not too close and just the way we like it.
