A man enlisted the help of PSU students in a HUB proposal

They found love in a hopeless place… aka the HUB

New Jersey man, James Irvin, 45, enlisted the help of Penn State students in order to propose to his girlfriend Friday over Blue and White weekend while many alumni had returned to campus.

Duquina Johnson, 33, a member of Penn State’s staff and advisor to Naacp at Penn State, stood in the middle of a crowd by the beloved HUB steps as Michael Jackson’s Do You Remember the Time? began to play.

‘Fraternity brothers’ helped him by creating signs that marked important dates in their relationship.

Irvin walks around the students, dancing and pointing to them as they held up the signs. The day they were introduced, their first kiss, and when they fell in love were some that were held up in the crowd.

Needless to say, she said yes.

Watch the full video here! Congrats to the lovely couple.
