BREAKING: Man found dead on Megabus in State College

There was still a needle in the man’s arm when the driver opened the bathroom door

A 54-year-old man from Philadelphia was found dead this afternoon on the Megabus in State College.

The Pittsburgh-bound bus traveling from Philadelphia stopped in State College a little before 1pm.

According to the driver, the man “fell out” of the restroom on the back of the bus after a passenger requested to have the restroom door opened.

He also said the man appeared to be in good health in Philadelphia when he boarded the bus, which also made stops in Harrisburg and Mifflintown.

Police are waiting to identify the man until after his family has been notified. Detectives say they do not suspect any “foul play.”

The bus driver also described that there was a needle in the man’s arm when he opened the bathroom door. Police say the man was already dead when they arrived on the scene.
