You may have seen The Tab’s recent story on the best off campus apartments at Penn. If you’re at all like me, you’re probably not interested in dropping loads of cash for an extravagant off campus apartment in The Radian when you can find just as nice places to live right on Locust Walk.
I present to you my High Rise quad. I’m convinced that you will never find an on campus dorm like this one that competes with those off campus suites, and heres why…
Location, Location, Location
Your house might be well equipped, but it takes 30 minutes to walk to class, and mine is literally on Locust Walk.
DAT VIEW THO
Seriously, I can stalk people walking down Locust, stare out at the pretty lights of the city, or enjoy a beautiful sunset. Out of floor to ceiling windows.
My living room is bigger than your whole apartment
Freshmen live 2 a room in spaces the size of my dining area. Get on my level.
MOTHA. FUCKIN. FOYER
There is nothing fancier or that will make you feel more like an adult than having a foyer.
I have a shoe rack, room for a welcome mat, and a hall closet. This isn’t a dorm this is A HOME.
So much poster space
So much space means SO MANY EMPTY WALLS. And that means more space for my nerdy pop culture propaganda.
