Reports of gunman at Philadelphia Community College

Their campus is on lockdown

The Community College of Philadelphia is on lockdown after reports of a gunman on campus.

Students have been ordered to take shelter in place at CCP, which is just over the river in center city from Penn – although at this time no shots have been fired and there are no reports of injuries.

Penn Police told The Tab they are continuing to regularly patrol our campus

A spokesman from Penn Police confirmed: “There is an isolated incident at CCP.

“The campus is currently in a state of lockdown.”

He added: “We are doing our regular patrolling.”

CBS confirmed police reported to the scene shortly after.

According to ABC News, the armed man is about 5 foot 4 inches wearing a blue vest, red hoodie and grey sweat pants.

This follows an FBI warning of “threats of violence” at Philadelphia universities on Sunday.
