The Oregon Track and Field team will host their first home meet at Hayward Field today during the annual Oregon Twilight Meet, and will feature some notable Duck alumni. Track is a huge deal in Eugene, and fans have been waiting to see the Ducks’ debut since their success at the NCAA Indoor championships in March.
Oregon is known for breeding some of the track greats who go on to break world records at the Olympics and beyond. While we all wish we had their athletic talent, we may have more in common with them than we think.
